Cultural Christianity and Free Will

Most of my scriptural posts and articles contain scripture references.  While I could cite plenty of scripture for my argument, this is an appeal based on logic.

Many will not say, "I am saved because I made a wise decision about Jesus Christ."  That would be an ugly honesty that most will not muster up. After all, Christ is the Savior, but this statement makes it sound as if the sinner saved himself through being smart.  That is just too honest.

Ugly truth or not, the above IS what most Christians think.  Arminians will readily agree that Christ's sacrifice was for all.  They believe THAT.  Ok, then WHAT makes you, Christian, saved; while John Q. Muslim is NOT saved if Jesus' sacrifice was for all people (and it was)?  The salvation of the Christian, versus the condemnation of the Muslim, the Hindu, the Buddhist, or the atheist must be due to the Christian's belief if Jesus' sacrifice was for everyone (and it was).

So, my question to the HONEST seeker or truth is this:

"Would you be a Christian had you been born in Saudi Arabia (where bibles are illegal)?"

"Would you be a Christian had you been born in the 1200s in China?"

"Would you be a Christian had you been born in the United States and raised by parents who abused you?"

Are you starting to see my point?

I would argue that had God planted me in Iran, raised by Muslim parents; that I would have been a Muslim as well.

Consider this: You have grown up in the United States as a Christian.  How effective would proselytizing you be, by someone from another country; preaching a belief, foreign to your own?  Is that not what your missionaries do?  Did God place the salvation of the majority of mankind on such a shaky and precarious precipice?

My guess is that given the same character traits, aptitude, and intelligence, your Christian pastor may well have been an Islamic Imam; if only God had chosen to have him born in Saudi Arabia.

Just consider it.  Many of you have seen my articles and posts that use scripture to defend the idea that Christ's work on the cross will bring all (eventually) into a reconciled relationship with The Father.

Consider these logical questions and ask yourself if you believe that God left salvation up to many internal and external influences that would prevent most of the world from ever coming to the truth that God wills all to come to in His timing.
